A unit engaged in manufacturing, processing or preservation of goods; the original investment in plant and machinery should not be more than Rs.100 lacs.[For some activities like hand tools, sports, Hosiery, stationery, Drugs and Pharma, etc the limit is Rs.500 lacs.]
