Eligibility:
• Students should have successfully cleared their first year examination of full time 3 years diploma in Engg. Course in the disciplines of Electrical/ Electronic/ Instrumentation/ Mechanical/ Civil and be relatively meritorious among the SC/ST candidates.
• Should not be in receipt of any financial aid or assistance from any other source whatsoever.

Netherlands Fellowship Programmes
The Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP) are designed to promote capacity building within organisations in 61 countries by providing training and education to mid-career staff. The NFP is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the budget for development cooperation.
May 2012 deadline
NFP : - The Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP) is a demand- oriented fellowship programmes designed to promote institutional development. The NFP target group consists of mid-career professionals who are in employment. For the May 2012 deadline SOL will close on 1 May 2012 at 23.59 hours CET.
Nuffic will be closed on 28, 29 and 30 April. Therefore, all questions received on or after 26 April will not be answered. Questions received between 21 and 25 April will be answered but may have a longer response time than the usual three days.
We advise you to submit your application as soon as possible. Do not wait until the last minute as SOL runs more slowly when there are many concurrent users, which means you risk missing the deadline.
The overall aim of the NFP is to help alleviate qualitative and quantitative shortages of skilled manpower within a wide range of governmental, private and non-governmental organisations. This is done by offering fellowships to mid-career professionals to improve the capacity of their employing organisations.
The fellowship is a supplement to the candidate’s salary and a contribution towards the expenses related to the course or study programme.

Beachell-Borlaug International Scholars Program Scholarships
Recognizing the importance of rice and wheat in global food security, Monsanto Company pledged $10 million to improve yields in these crops as part of its commitment to sustainable yield. Monsanto’s Beachell-Borlaug International Scholars Program is the result of that pledge. Monsanto established this program in 2009 in honor of two of the world’s most pre-eminent rice and wheat breeders: Drs. Henry Beachell and Norman Borlaug. Their lifelong work laid the foundation for the tremendous increases in rice and wheat production that continue to help feed the world today.
The primary objective of this prestigious fellowship program is to develop highly educated rice and wheat plant breeders who can serve as future agricultural leaders. It will be administered by Texas AgriLife Research, an agency of the Texas A&M University System.

Huygens Scholarship Programme
Due to education spending cuts, the Dutch cabinet has decided to terminate the Huygens Scholarship Programme as from 1 January 2012. The programme is closed for new applications.
The prestigious and highly competitive Huygens Scholarship Programme allows talented students to study in the Netherlands in the final phase of their bachelor’s studies or during their master’s studies.
If you are currently studying in Holland under the Huygens Scholarship Programme, your scholarship will not be affected. The grant letter and conditions remain valid and you may continue to pursue and complete your study programme.
On completion of your studies, your Dutch host institution will send Nuffic a copy of your academic record (transcript) or, if you are a PhD student, an evaluation report of your PhD research activities.
The prestigious HSP Huygens Programme is open to excellent students from all countries. It is aimed at talented students who want to come to the Netherlands in the final phase of their bachelor’s studies or during their master’s studies.

2 year Scholarships will be awarded for Standards 11 & 12, CBSE or IB, for the 2012–2014 sessions. The scholarship worth S$ 66,000* per student includes all tuition fees and boarding expenses, one time return airfare from India to Singapore. Subsidized medical benefits will also be given. K.C. Mahindra Scholarships for Post-Graduate Studies Abroad
The trustees of K. C. Mahindra Education Trust offer interest-free loan scholarships to Indian nationals for post-graduate studies abroad in various fields. Applications are invited for the K. C. Mahindra Scholarships for Post-Graduate Studies Abroad for the year 2012.
The maximum amount for this scholarship will be 2 lacs per scholar, except for the 3 K.C.Mahindra fellow Scholarships for which the maximum amount will be 8 lacs per scholar.
Applicants for the scholarships are required to satisfy the following conditions:
* They must possess a FIRST CLASS degree or an equivalent diploma of the same standard from a recognised Indian university
* They must have secured admission or have applied for admission in reputable foreign universities for courses commencing from September, 2012 but not later than February, 2013

The Dr Manmohan Singh Scholarships
For Doctoral Studies at St. John's College - University of Cambridge
The Programme-
Dr Manmonhan Singh, the Prime Minister of India, is a graduate and Honorary Fellow of St John's College. He is widely acknowledged as the architect of the economic reforms that have helped propel India onto the World Stage. In honour of Dr Singh St John's College is launching the Dr Manmohan Singh Scholarships. These awards will enable academically outstanding Indian students to come to St. John's College, University of Cambridge to study for doctoral degrees in subjects like Science & Technology, Economics and Social Sciences. Applications in Aerospace Engineering, Marine Engineering and Energy Studies (both policy areas and technical areas, especially with practical applicability for India) will be of particular interest.
Eligibilty Criteria
The applicant should be:
* An Indian national with a valid Indian passport
* Below 35 years of age as on 31 January 20xx
* Holding a Master's (postgraduate) degree from a reputed/recognised India university/ institution with a First Class award (UG and PG) in the relevant subject/ field
