Which Advertising Model Should You Use - CPM Vs CPC

Sometimes one get confused with the type of advertisement they should use on their websites or blog .If you have a blog or a website and you want to make money out of it but not sure of what advertising model you should use .. then consider these aspects.

CPM is a per mile based advertising model which pays per thousand impressions. Several researches show that if you have online service website that has regular direct visitors then your website does not get much clicks on the advertisement links. So in that case you can use CPM advertising model to monetize your website. On the other hand if any website gets more traffic from search engines then the chances of clicking on the advertising links are more. So if your website gets more traffic from search engines then it is good to use CPC based advertising model.

For Blogs: It is a fact that most of the blogs get traffic from the search engines and very less number of popular blogs are there who gets direct visit. So if you are thinking to monetize your blog then consider using CPC rather than CPM based model.

Which model gets more revenue? CPC advertising model generates more revenue than the CPM for a small scale website or blog but on the other hand large scale websites or blogs can generate more from the CPM based advertising model than the CPC model.So it purely depends on the popularity of the website and some other factors like type of visitors, type of traffic, visitors region etc.
