Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a Department of Biotechnology, Govt, of India sponsored project entitled "Development of plasmonic biosensors using nanosphere lithography and surface enhanced raman spectroscopy (SERS) for rapid diagnosis of Viral encephalitis" jointly at Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) and Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal for a period of twoyears.

Junior Research Fellow (Physics / Solid State Physics / Nanoscience & Nanotechnology)

Qualifications:

MSc (Physics) with NET qualified for fellowship OR MSc (Physics) with NET qualified for Lectureship OR MPhil (Solid State Physics) OR MTech (Nanoscience & Nanotechnology)

Junior Research Fellow (Life Sciences) Qualifications:

MSc (Microbiology / Biotechnology / Life Sciences) with NET qualified for fellowship OR

MSc (Microbiology / Biotechnology / Life Sciences) with NET qualified for Lectureship

Emoluments: NETJRF : Rs.16,000p.m + 10%HRA

NET Lectureship : Rs.12,000p.m + 10%HRA

MTech JRF : Rs. 18,000p.m + 10%HRA
