CTET 2013 Online Application -April 16, 2013

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued the Central Teacher Eligibility Test July 2013 notification. CBSE shall conduct CTET 2013 on July 28, 2013 in two sessions (Paper I & II).

Online Applications for Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2013 can be submitted through www.ctet.nic.in from March 15, 2013 onwards. The last date for submission of online application form / registration is April 16, 2013. Last date for receipt of confirmation page by CBSE is April 22, 2013. Once applied, candidates will be able to check their Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2013 Application Status online.

The CBSE conducts Central Teacher Eligibility Test twice every year. The candidates who qualify Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2013 are issued CTET Marks Statement and this CTET score is applicable for appointment as teachers in Central Government Schools as well as the Schools which are under the administrative control of UT of Chandigarh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Daman & Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and NCT of Delhi.

CTET 2013 shall comprise of two papers (Paper I & II). Paper I is for candidates aspiring to be a teacher for classes I to V and Paper II for candidates aspiring to teach classes VI to VIII. In case a candidate intends to be teacher for both levels, he/she is required to apply for both papers. The question papers will be of objective type with each question carrying one mark with no negative marking for wrong answers, constituting a total of 150 questions in each paper.
